Xtreme Illusions approaching 1000 shows

Sam Powers' stage spectacular 'Xtreme Illusions' is about to reach 1000 shows at the Reef Hotel Casino making it the longest running and most successful show in its history. In November 2011, Sam Powers will have performed 1000 shows at the complex since launching the show in late 2008. "The hardest part about the show is making sure it looks fresh each night, but with a good audience to work with it's always fun." says Powers. Performances are nightly Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm.

Xtreme Illusions Voted 'Best Theatre Show' 2009

Sam Powers' newest stage spectacular 'Xtreme Illusions' was voted 'Best Theatre Show' 2009 by the Board of 'The Best Magicians in Australia'. 'Xtreme Illusions' is Australia's ONLY resident illusion show and runs nightly Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm in the Reef Hotel Casino.

Sam Powers Nominated for Sight Act of the Year

Sam Powers has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year in the Sight Act category at the 9th Annual ACE Awards. With the many entertainment categories Sam is in great company with the likes of Eskimo Joe, Thirsty Mirc and the Wiggles. Specifically in Powers category the "Sight Act", he is up against four other top Australian performers.
